The files in this folder generate Figure 7: the AC Stark shift of N=1 at 1064 nm

The main python script is AC Stark Map Jesus Fitting.py which produces the image files as .pdf and .png

the folder \Insets contains .svg and .png files for drawing the axes that are inset to the figure

the folder \ACStark1064nm\ contains the majority of the data

\Beta=0 and \Beta=90 contain the theoretical calculations of Jesus Aldegunde: each contain several files

expdata_bX.dat contains the experimental data used for fitting {X=0,90}
input87Rb133Cs_case0.dat contains the input file and arguments to th FORTRAN 77 fitting code in a human readable format.

the .dat files are tab-delimited

lines.dat is the theoretical energy levels of the molecule as a function of intensity in the following columns.

Intensity(W/m^2) Transition Frequency 1 (kHz) ... Transition Frequency 96 (kHz)

pi.dat, sigma-.dat and sigma+.dat contain the relative transition strengths for the transitions in lines.dat

Intensity(W/m^2) Transition Strength 1 ... Transition Strength 96

\Experimental Data contains the experimental spectroscopy measurements for MF =5 and MF =6 spectroscopic measurements.

\Beta = 0 contains the data for vertical polarisation and has two files:
MF5.csv
MF6.csv

\Beta = 90 contains the data for Horizontal polarisation and has one file:
MF5.csv

the contents of the file are organised as:

laser control voltage (V), measured transition frequency (MHz), error(MHz)

the conversion from control voltage to power and intensity is done in the python script.
